Way to go, John!
I was moved by John Mahan’s article concerning Miss Hackney.
A few years ago, this same matter was brought to my attention. I did make it known to a few classmates, but that’s as far as it went (shame).
My thought now is — what if every student of Miss Hackney would commit $1 (or $5). What could be done, not only put much-deserved grave markers on both graves — but also revive the scholarship that is dying at this time.
I am contacting my siblings, my children and my classmates.
Let’s do this!
