Water District Hires Marketing Firm to Conduct Image Campaign

by Evelyn Pyburn

The Heights County Water District needs to be promoted to its customers to improve its image and to make citizens more aware from where their water comes, according to the District’s manager Peyton Brookshire. Brookshire presented a proposal to the District Board during their monthly meeting last Wednesday. It calls for spending almost $90,000 to hire a marketing firm to improve the district’s reputation, to underscore its purpose and to develop “strategies.”

Brookshire said that he requested a marketing plan from Kinetic Marketing and received a proposal to promote the district through April and May, to the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2023). At that point the plan would be evaluated by the board to determine whether to continue it.
