Dear Editor:
Good things are happening in Lockwood. Sue Vinton, our current representative to House District 56, is part of the community that makes things happen. As an example, the recent High School Bond election for the Lockwood. Sue was on the Lockwood School Board and its chair when legislation was drafted about six years ago to allow Lockwood to have a high school. We worked the draft through two legislative sessions. It was edited and modified but not passed. In 2016, Sue left the school board and was elected as representative for HD 56. Working as a legislator in 2017, the legislation was successfully passed into law. It takes many people to get these things done, but Sue Vinton stayed engaged and followed this to completion.
I am voting for Sue Vinton as representative for HD 56, because she cares about Lockwood community education and business. I encourage you to vote for her in November.
