The Beanery Moves into New Kiosk

Chelsea and Shane Hensleigh plan to open their new and approved kiosk for The Beanery on September 30 in Huntley. The kiosk, in the works for a few years now, was originally planned as a storage shed but according to Chelsea, it was just built too nice to not be their new coffee kiosk. With the old kiosk showing significant wear and tear and the new kiosk complete, the Hensleighs decided last week to make the switch. The Hensleighs are excited to bring the same product with a much more efficient set up, hopefully allowing them to serve the community more quickly and keep lines short. Chelsea was adamant about keeping consistency a top priority for The Beanery; she believes providing customers a consistent experience from service to coffee products will allow her to serve the community with a great product for years to come.

Chelsea, originally from St. Ignatius, MT, has been in the coffee industry most of her adult life beginning when she was eighteen years old and was offered the opportunity to help open a coffee kiosk in Ronan, Montana. She then bounced around a few other professions outside the coffee industry, but Chelsea found herself always coming back to the coffee and service industry stating, “I love the creativity and interfacing with people, [allowing me] to get to know a community,” communities that Chelsea says have been so supportive that, “the heart gets tugged and it’s hard to leave that.”

After also owning a kiosk in Colstrip, MT, for roughly four years, and then working on the Westend of Billings for a while, Chelsea was presented with the opportunity to purchase the Sunrise Coffee kiosk a few years ago. That opportunity allowed her to open The Beanery to provide a service to the community she now lives in. Since then, Chelsea stated she has “never felt anything from the community but support” and that she has been “blown away by it.” While the services the kiosk provides won’t change, Chelsea is excited for what the future holds as the new building will give The Beanery the flexibility to add new products in the future. For now, Chelsea stated that her and her husband Shane “can’t wait to sleep and drink coffee” after construction is done, but Chelsea also wanted the community to know, “I promise we will be back with the same great coffee and service.” The new kiosk is set to open Monday, September 30, at 5:30am. The Beanery is located at 90 Northern Ave., Huntley, MT, and is open Monday-Friday 5:30am to 4pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm.
