Dear Editor,
Thank you to Evelyn Pyburn for the report of the candidates. I like the thought of cutting education as we have the most illiterate people in the world.
Few people know about our history as it is boring. If you don’t know history, one is bound to repeat it, taxation without representation, laws of nature, liberty of the independent individual, rights given by our creator and no one is above the rule of the law, there is a right and wrong.
The founding fathers were well versed in the classic writers of their day. Today we have to ban books that are classics and might point our flawed society. Of course, our attention spans have dwindled to a three second sound bit. Give people only what you want them to know.
