State Representative Jonathan McNiven released the following info regarding his decision to step down from the upcoming 2015 Legislative Session.  He will finish out the rest of his current term which ends Jan. 5th, 2015.  Here is what he posted on Facebook:

For those interested, My wife and I have decided this is the right thing to do at this time.  As much as I loved what I did, priorities and responsibilities change as we go along this journey we call life.  It was not an easy decision, believe me!.  I hope many will understand and I hope to make the communities proud in our next adventure.  Someday, I’ll jump back into serving the previous capacity but for now, I’ve got other responsibilities.  Thank you to all those who supported me and my campaigns throughout the years.
