The Montana Department of Labor & Industry (DLI) has announced that over 52,000 Unemployment Insurance (UI) payments were issued for the week of May 18 through May 22, primarily providing benefits to Montanans impacted by COVID-19. With a payout of $56 million for that week, in the wake of the re-opening of many businesses throughout Montana, it appears that the full effect of re-opening is not reflected in UI claims as of yet. read more
