Dear Editor,
Because we have a crab apple tree in our backyard full of food for our friends, deer, birds, squirrels, plus one rabbit who stays in the woodpile, I enjoy reading Carl Wolf’s Outdoors column in the paper each week. But, he should stay away from the subject of politics because it only builds fences, and I need the freedom in my life to be closer to nature. Carl’s gift of sharing knowledge of nature will be a blessing to me, and we don’t need to build any more fences.
