Some people may think they are getting even with the big oil companies, but

Dear Editor,

I got a notice with a bill saying the business was going to prepay pumps due to drive offs.  The night of the Worden Christmas Stroll, I pulled up to the gas station as a pick-up drives off and an employee runs out and tries to chase them down. Some people may think they are getting even with the big oil companies, but it only hurts the local business.  It is like any other business at the end of the day, if the till doesn’t match the receipts someone has to find out why and make up the difference.  Shop lifting is shop lifting, stealing, it hurts the business and community. It means less employees, less service or no business. Someone always has to make more work for others or make life inconvenient for others by their own greed or selfishness.  Unfortunately, they are not the ones who read the paper or think of others.
