Dear Editor,
Two topics are heavy on my mind this week: First, I’ve really enjoyed the columns by Justin Choriki – that man consistently has great things to say about topics that certainly are on people’s minds these days. I hope we get to see more of Choriki in the future!
Second, Walmart and Green Dot should be ashamed of themselves. Many may not know this, but Walmart owns a portion of shares in Green Dot’s stock… seems a bit too coincidental to me, what about you? Or perhaps underhanded, is a better word?
The recent story on the Green Dot scam makes no sense. Neither company is willing to take responsibility for any of it? Isn’t Green Dot a bank insured by the FDIC?
I’d heard rumors the Walmart heirs were greedy, but not shady! Hopefully, SOMETHING can be done to protect consumers.
Shame on Walmart.
