Dear Editor,
I am responding to the sexist description of Nancy Pelosi in the Jan 18 letter to the editor by Paul Kober by doing the same for President Trump. Your dyed blond hair plugs – didn’t you used to be a brunette in your younger days, your fake orange tan, and your ridiculously long ties which you think make you look thinner combine to make you look like a girlie man.
Nancy, a mere woman, beat you like a rented mule in this government shutdown thing. She managed to keep the house Democrats united which is no mean feat. As Will Rogers once said, “I belong to no organized political party, I’m a Democrat.” You should bone up on the legislative process and realize when one house of Congress is held by the opposition, you have to do some serious compromising to get anything done. All your government shutdown hissy fit accomplished was to stress goverment workers and contractors and tank your poll numbers. Not to worry, though, with your son-in-law in charge of finding a compromise, everything will turn out just fine.
