Dear Editor,
Women have had abortions for thousands of years and more than likely thousands more, the reason or cause is known to the individual. We now have a group who think they have been given governing power. The original power was to be impartial and unbiased, studying the laws passed and enforcing them (interpret them).
If we are to respect life at the point of conception, why not respect life at any age, no matter culture, religion, or ethnic background? Why do we have to make a political football out of any or all differences of life or opinions? Respect and love others and be responsible for your own actions. If we are going to pass laws, follow them or remove the law as unjust.
