The parties involved in a negligence lawsuit against Rimrock Park Apartments and BP Asset Management (BPAM) have agreed to engage in mediation “in light of the unique circumstances of this case,” according to recent court filings.
Linda Long, the plaintiff, originally filed suit in District Court against the defendants for their alleged negligence in maintaining – or failing to maintain – the three apartment buildings located off Burnstead Drive in north Billings known as the Rimrock Park Apartments. Failing plumbing and “an acute infestation of roaches” are among the many consequences which Long says forced her and her son to move out and which continue to put current tenants at risk.
