After scoring 15 points versus St. Labre at Huntley Project on January 11, Senior Paige Lofing has earned her place in the top ten all-time scorers for Montana High School Association’s Girls’ Basketball individual records. Lofing continues to earn her place in Huntley Project history by scoring the most individual points for the school; the last record was held by Monica Hollowell with her 1,979 points in 2009.

With now 2,034 points, Lofing has surpassed Joan Langford of Reed Point and Lanford’s all-time score of 2033 points.  Including Lofing, only 18 players have scored more than 2000 points in their high school careers.  Huntley is scheduled for ten more regular season games and with a scoring average of 24.5 points per game Lofing has the potential to join the top five scorers in Montana; Taylee Chirrick of Roberts currently holds the fifth place at 2189. Lofing was nominated this week for the McDonald’s All-American 2025 Team.

YCN Sports and Radio will continue covering Lofing’s and the Lady Red Devils’ season progress this Friday, January 16 as Huntley Project takes on rival Baker in a black-out girls’ basketball home game scheduled for 6:30pm. You can listen to the historic game broadcast live, for free, and online at www.ycnsports.com as well as view upcoming games on YCN Sports and Radio for the Huntley Project Lady Red Devils.
