Vendala Marie Brodmerkle-Martinson
Vendala Marie Brodmerkle-Martinson, 28, passed away at home with her loved ones, on October 28, 2024. Vendala was born to Roy and Angie, on December 27, 1995, in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Vendala is the oldest of four. She has two sisters: Alice Brodmerkle, and Amanda Brett, and one brother Johnathon Brodmerkle. Vendala spent her childhood in and out of Noxon, MT, before moving to Billings, MT, in 2007; her family then moved to Worden in 2010 where she graduated from Huntley Project High School in 2014. In 2010 she met the love of her life Dustin Jacob Martinson; they married on February 29, 2020.
After high school Vendala went on to do three years at MSU-Billings college, where she studied Elementary Education and Special Education. Vendala then went on to work at home with her husband at Montana GSE. Vendala may have been born with a heart condition, but she never let that slow her down in life. Vendala had a love and passion for being outdoors, experiencing new things in life, with family, friends, and her husband by her side. Vendala loved to travel, hunt, fish, take photos, go to concerts (mainly ACDC) and collect extensive amounts of rocks.
Vendala lived her life to the fullest. She saw the joy in everything and made sure to capture every moment to share with others. Vendala had many mottos she lived by, but her favorite was “Live By The Sun, Love By The Moon”.
Vendala is survived by her father Roy, her mother Angie, and her step parents John Heliker, and Jami Brodmerkle. She is also survived by her husband Dustin Martinson, sister Alice Brodmerkle and niece Luna Brodmerkle; her younger sister Amanda, husband Allen Brett, and niece Oakley Brett, and her brother Johnathon Brodmekle; her grandparents Ron and Brenda Brodmerkle, grandma Peggy Gray and grandpa George Wilton along with many extended family members. Vendala is preceded in death by her great grandparents Roy and Betty Hall, Grandpa Joe, and Grandma Glenda.
