Kristy Marie Knowles
Kristy Marie Knowles, 36, of Shepherd received her wings and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 15, 2019. She passed away unexpectedly. Kristy was born February 19, 1983 in Akron, Ohio to Leslie and Barbara Carr.
As a young girl, she grew up in Akron where she was the youngest of three children and graduated from Springfield High School in 2002.
She married the love of her life Christopher Knowles on March 29, 2008 which produced 2 handsome boys Michael and Bradley.
Kristy enjoyed many things in life including homemaking, gardening, and especially her family as she centered her life in rearing 2 energetic boys. She also had a love for animals throughout her life. She always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She loved various crafts and had a passion for canning the foods she grew from her garden.
Most people didn’t recognize her outgoing and bubbly personality because she was a timid wallflower. She was funny, loving, caring, loyal, and friend to many who got to know her. To Kristy, relocating to Montana was a big ordeal but after living in Montana a few short years, she grew to love the area, people and never wanted to leave.
Kristy is survived by her husband Christopher, sons Michael, 10, Bradley, 9, of Shepherd, MT. Also, her father Leslie Carr and mom Tina Carr, her sister Victoria (Ken) Rose, brother Jason Carr, Uncle Ken (Karen) Cooper all from of Akron, OH and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Carr of Shepherd, MT in 2015 and Aunt Theresa Canterbury of Akron, OH in 2007.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel at 912 Wicks Lane in Billings, MT on Saturday July 20, 2019 at 10 AM.
