Graduating high school as a junior with high honors, in 1981, Jami went on to study Business Administration at Montana State University – Billings before obtaining her first job in the banking industry. Jami was often dubbed the “Master Chute Boss” as she wore many hats in and out of the arena. Everything from cooking for the concession stand, managing the entry office, running the chute and announcing the ropings or rodeos, Jami made sure each event went off without a hitch. Jami spent many other hours gardening the beautiful flowers and vegetables that surrounded the house each spring and summer. Spending time with family and her dogs was by far her favorite pastime of all. Her caring nature and infectious smile was always welcoming to all and will be deeply missed.

Throughout her time in ag lending, Jami served customers through various banks in Hardin, Billings, Worden and the surrounding areas. Jami moved to Stockman Bank in 2009 as a Senior Ag Loan Officer. In spring of 2016, Jami was promoted to Branch Manager of Stockman Bank Worden and finally Vice President, Branch Manager in 2018.
