Dorothy Clark Lanier passed away on September 10, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital with her family by her side after a short battle with cancer. She was born on October 12, 1936, to Jack and Bobie Clark in Shepherd, MT.
She loved gardening and flowers. She worked at Volley Gavert’s greenhouse for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Lanier, brother John Clark and his wife Peggy, brother-in-law Stanley Yurian, and grandson Terry Lee.
She is survived by four children: James Lanier, LeaAnne (Ben) Hoffman, John (Sherry) Lanier, Russell (Jennifer) Lanier; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jackie (Leonard) Schleder, and Barb Yurian.
There will be a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served after the service at Worden Open Bible Church at 1460 Railroad Highway in Ballantine, MT.
