Donald Mittlestadt
Donald ”Don” Duane Mittlestadt , age 67 passed away peacefully on March 20, 2020 surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Don was born on October 2, 1952, to Richard and Helen (Buxbaum) Mittlestadt in Glendive, MT. He was raised there and graduated with the DCHS class of 1971.
Don and Kelly were united in marriage on October 1, 1999. They resided in Shepherd, MT, where they raised their two boys, Dillon and Dallas.
Don worked most his life as a truck driver. He was recently working for T&D/Tyran Transport before his health deteriorated. He deeply loved that job.
When Don wasn’t working, he was watching Dillon and Dallas participate in rodeo. He was very involved in working and hauling for Wrangler Team Roping Championships (WTRC). All which supported his love for horses.
Don is preceded in death by his father Richard and his brother Steven.
Don is survived by his wife Kelly, his mother Helen, his sons Dillon, Dallas, Tyler and Coby, daughters, Mikala, Milaka, and Shae, his sisters, Cindy(Duane) Cudmore and Glenna (Tony) Lee, his mother-in-law Cathy Evans, his nieces and a nephew.
A celebration of life will be announced at a different date.
