Well, Folks, this last week has been a whirlwind with Homesteader Days, Big Sky Speedway and then with all the other events that have happened. I’ll keep each point short as I’ve got lots of stuff to do.
First, YCN is looking for a couple people to join our team. A production specialist, a paralegal person as well as an inhouse reporter. The production specialist will be the one that puts the paper together each week. If you know of anyone that has InDesign experience, that would be even better, but we will train. I’m also looking for a reporter to join our team as we cover local stories and take care of putting the upcoming events and sheriff’s report together each week. We’re also looking for someone to take care of all the legal notices that are sent to us. My son Gage is helping with that at this time. In the meantime, we are all covering right now but it makes it a lot harder to get anything else done at this point. Let me know if you have any good individuals that might be a good fit for our #1 newspaper team. I also have a position to incorporate with our radio station needs so let me know if there is anyone interested. It could be just a part-time gig as well.
Dig It Days 2024 is in one month. You can find the info on our website www.digitdays.org. We’ve got some new entities joining us this year, so we’ll have some new stuff, prizes, and $$$$ for those kids and young adults to win.
We’ve got some things in the works for our upcoming sports seasons as well as for the radio station, so stay tuned as we announce those things within the next month.
