Maryland Matt back on the chopping block

Dear Editor,

I see that Maryland Matt Rosendale is running for Congress for the third time. I know he stated, I believe in one of his campaigns for Congress, that he was proud to be from a military family. I believe he stated that his father had been in the military. I know that many fathers who had served in World War II or Korea advised their sons that were born too late to be subject to the draft not to go into the military because they might get injured. Is that what your father told you Maryland Matt? Also, there was the issue that your opponent brought up in your last congressional race about false statements you had made, I believe, in official Maryland real estate documents. I am not sure that these would have risen to the level of a crime (i.e. Perjury). I did not hear you say anything that adequately refuted what was said by one of your primary opponents. When I acted as an attorney in medical cases I always told the witnesses that I prepped for trial to be ready for the question if they had ever told a lie in their life. I told them to always say that they never told a lie under oath. Because I never heard Maryland Matt refute that he never engaged in any type of false swearing, I have to assume that he did! Don’t we have enough of those types of politicians?
