I am writing to you in support of my neighbor and friend Mark Morse. I’ve known Mark for the last seven years and can speak as to what I have come to know of his integrity and honesty.
Mark’s opponent, Denis Pitman, lacks integrity to acknowledge his defeat in the primary and step down as a true gentleman should.
The small handful of politicians who defend Denis Pitman as honest in the face of this whole sordid and documented Metra mess is like defending Bill Clinton’s morality. It is appalling.
Is this really the sort of behavior in office that these few support? Perhaps we should look deeper into each of these individuals and their time in office.
Mark Morse has decades of investigation work, and his ethics are above reproach. He won in the June primary in a near landslide. It wasn’t even close.
Let’s get Mark over the second finish line so he can help clean up the mess created by Pitman and Jones.
