Madison River Propane has entered into an agreement with Red Mountain Truck Lines, Inc. to rent a lot in Lockwood which will house a bulk facility containing two 30,000-gallon tanks for their propane. This new location will allow their propane trucks to refill locally, rather than having to drive back to Columbus. As a result, they will be able to schedule more deliveries in the same area in a shorter time frame.
Established in 2012, Madison River Propane delivers propane to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. In addition, they install propane tanks both inside and outside any residential or commercial buildings, Madison River Propane also sells, installs and services propane appliances. Their locations have focused mostly on south-central Montana, but with this new location, the company is hoping to expand its services on the east side of Billings.
According to Cody McNiven, Area District Manager for South Central Montana for Madison River Propane, “The facility will allow more access to grow our service on the north and east side of Billings and gives us the opportunity to service more local residents in a timely manner.” Located at 1355 Coulson Road in Lockwood, the facility is now open, and Madison River Propane has begun using it to refill their trucks.
