Lenroy “Lenny” Nott Jr.

Byrne Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Lebanon, NH.

He was born June 8, 1950 in Lebanon, NH a son of Lenroy and June (Gauthier) Nott.  Lenny grew up in the Dothan District of Hartford and attended Hartford schools before beginning his career as a truck driver.  He drove for Pike and later Adams, McNichol and Melen before driving for P&C, where he worked for many years.  He was married to Ann Parker in 1967 and they made their home and raised their family in White River Jct., until they were divorced in 1989.  He then fulfilled a life long dream when he moved to Billings, Montana where he lived for over 25 years. While in Montana he drove for Sysco Foods until injuring his back and was no longer able to work.  In 2015 he returned to Vermont due to failing health and has lived with his daughter and son-in-law in Sharon since.

Lenny was an avid hunter spending as much time in the woods as time allowed in Vermont, Maine and Montana.  When he wasn’t working or hunting he could be found spending time telling stories and enjoying a beer with friends or family.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Lindon Nott in 1988; grandmother Lillian Hathorn Nott and brother Stephen Nott both in 1990; father Lenroy “Popsie” Nott in 1992, grandmother Grace Smith in 2009 and nephew Rick McEwan in 2014.

He is survived by a son Mark Nott and his companion Tammy Bailey-Pippin of Orford, NH; daughter Michelle Tuthill and her husband Mike of Sharon; mother June Nott of Hartford; brothers Raymond Nott of Canaan, VT; Richard and Percy Nott both of Hartford; sisters Shirley Bowen of Lake Placid, NY, Barbara Pugh of North Haverhill, NH and Judy Nott of Hartford; grandsons Justin Nott and Tyler and Tanner Tuthill; granddaughters Jessica, Kelsey and Kristen Nott; great grandchildren Jace and Grace Oslen and Hayley Potwin; many nieces and nephews as well as several close friends in both Vermont and Montana including Albert and Carol Rebsom who were like family to Lenny in Montana.
