Rimrock Auto Group sold their Chevrolet location in Laurel to Don Jones on the tenth of June. All the employees of the location were able to retain their positions in the shift, which helped facilitate a clean transition.
“Don Jones is a good guy,” said Steve Zabawa, owner of Rimrock Auto Group. “He has a good business that he’s running.” Interestingly, the decision to sell the Laurel location was not born out of a need to downsize but rather out of a desire for expansion; expansion into the digital field that is.
“We’ve been reorganizing the business so that we can sell faster and better,” Zabawa stated. The money that was made from the transaction was redistributed back into the business. However, the other physical locations were not the only benefactors of the financial boost. The newest method of a more streamlined sales process that Rimrock Auto has added is an online feature known as WebBuy.
