I’ll Keep This to the Point

Well, Folks, with so much going on, I’ll keep this to the point as I’ve got so much to do.

First, Dig It Days is next week, so make sure you set your calendars to come and join us. Bring the family, kids, grandkids and everyone. If you want to get into MontanaFair FREE on Friday August 16th, grab free tickets from any Dig It Days sponsor or call our office to get some free tickets. In fact, I’ll allow you call or text my cell phone 406-672-5941, and I’ll personally give you some free tickets. This is free entry into MontanaFair, and these free tickets are only from 12-3 pm on Friday, August 16. You can also go to www.digitdays.org and find all the rest of the sponsors and get free tickets from them.

Second, I’ll be going to the Trump rally in Bozeman this Friday. It will be my fourth time seeing him. However, what’s more interesting is that my kids are all more excited to see Donald Trump than I am. I don’t notice that I talk to my kids about political things much, but it seems they are really excited about seeing Trump at this rally. I think it may more possibly be that Trump should not be here as he was nearly assassinated, so it’s a historical thing for them. Anyhow, I wish I could get them all in as press, but they will have to wait and get in line and see if they can get into the rally as my reporter and I’ll be working.

However, I do find it intriguing that Trump is coming to Montana so early in this general election as it seems the Republicans are poised to apparently beat Tester, and Trump also sees that as a good possibility. I’m just surprised how early he is coming. The Tester race has been one of two big Senate races in the country. So, we’ll be out of town this week and focusing on that race as well.

Third, we’ve got YCN Sports schedules getting finalized, and I’m looking for those who are willing to support local journalism and local sports for our area.   We are looking for advertisers, sponsors and individuals who can help us do that during the school year so give me a call or text, and we can talk about Dig It Days, YCN Sports, YCN Radio or even talk politics, but I’ll be on the road a lot come three weeks from now and it will be great fun.

Fourth, I’m still looking for a delivery person, production specialist or someone who can help us put the paper together each week. I’m also looking for a reporter to help us keep up on all the local journalism. Let me know if you would be willing to help us out or got a good referral for me.

I’ll be at MontanaFair all week outside near the Dig It Days exhibit. Come stop by and say hi and let me know what your YCN Sweepstakes # is. The first one might get some kind of recognition.

And lastly, I’m putting this image of the iceberg in my Meanderings again this week, but the iceberg is now even bigger. If you see a picture of an iceberg that is abnormally huge in the paper, know that something big is coming, because if you can only see the tip of the iceberg in regards to progress YCN is making, just imagine what you can’t see, and what we’re about to announce.

Until then, see you in the paper.
