Dear Editor,
I am writing in regards to the condition of the Huntley Cemetery. My sister and I went to be sure our Dad’s headstone looked nice the day before his service. I was shocked at the condition of the cemetery. It was totally dried up. Obviously, it is not being maintained the way it should be. We were told the waterline was cut over a year ago and never fixed so they were unable to water. This is unacceptable. Whoever did this needs to be held responsible and needs to fix it. It is so sad to see the resting place of our loved ones in this condition. It is disrespectful and just wrong. What can be done? Who do we contact? If you have loved ones buried there, please check it out. I’m sure you will feel the same way. So sad.
