Huntley Project’s boys’ basketball head coach Randy Robinson informed Athletic Director Tim Bastian of his resignation Monday morning after the Huntley Project basketball season ended last weekend.  In a call with the Yellowstone County News, Coach Randy Robinson said that he made the decision over the weekend and that it was for personal reasons as he’s been commuting two years back and forth from his home to Worden each year. “I’ve been burning the candle at both ends for two years.” He said.

Robinson lived in Roundup the first year while coaching as he commuted to Worden for open gyms, practices and so forth but then moved to Hardin last year as he took a job with the Hardin School District but then continued to commute to Worden for the second year which achieved a 19-4 winning record which resulted in back to back District Championships for the Huntley Project Red Devils.

Many HP fans and school supporters were sad to learn of the news of his resignation, School and the administration was also caught off guard but were happy with the success, effort and results Coach Robinson gave to the team, the sport and school over the last couple years.
