Heights businesses bind together on bringing Billings up to speed

A group of business owners in the Billings Heights have begun banding together to figure out how to grow their businesses and bring more clientele out to the Heights. Ming Cabrera, owner of the mini-mall at 1414 Main St., is spearheading the movement to make the Heights Business Association a reality, and after a few packed room meetings in the Heights Pizza Ranch they have begun formulating their goals.

The Billings Heights Business Association believes that by organizing themselves to push for economic growth in the Heights, they may be able to bring more businesses and a larger customer base to the area. At a meeting earlier this month, members pointed out that areas like Downtown Billings were seeing massive amounts of growth that can be attributed to the efforts of a business association working to bring in new businesses and organize events to bring in a larger customer base and increase foot traffic in the area.
