According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during 2023 roughly 75,000 US citizens died from synthetic opioids. The Obama administration might have explained this away as the “new norm.” They said “new norm” began in 2013 and continued on a rocketing increase until 2017. Then there was a slowdown for two years. In 2019 the “new norm” rocket took off again and continues today.
What does the Drug Enforcement Agency have to say about all this? Nearly seven out of every ten confiscated pills contain a lethal dose of fentanyl. 70% of pills confiscated would have killed the consumer by taking just one pill! Casual drug indulgence has changed to casualty drug indulgence. Where does the responsibility lie?
The core responsibility lies with the “Czar of the Southern Border,” Kamala Harris, and team player, Senator Jon Tester. Their open border policy is the root cause. Because of the slim majority in the Senate, Senator Tester could have had a major say in ending the open border policy. His one vote would have made a huge difference in the lives of many in Montana, as well as nationwide.
Instead, what do we get? We get a near free-flow of illegal drugs pouring into the United States. Statistics show the populations most vulnerable to these free-flowing drugs are Native Americans. There is only one way to look at this. Border Czar Kamala Harris and Senator Jon Tester condone this attack on Americans, or they would have slammed the doors to the border without hesitation. Instead, they stopped construction of the border wall and all but hung a “WELCOME” sign.
As a result of the Kamala-Tester “WELCOME”, border agents are now swamped with the duty of processing millions and millions of illegal immigrants, which occupies most of their time. Additionally, border agents are spread thin as tissue paper across the 2000 miles of southern border. Thin ranks facilitate the movement of illegal drugs. Logically, this all implies that enhanced drug movement means there will also be more ‘gotaways.’
The definition of a gotaway is a person who has been detected, entering America, by hidden cameras, or by various other means, but is not apprehended. From the day Obama took office through December of 2023, there have been over three million gotaways. Border Czar Kamala Harris and her assistant, Senator Tester, have not been slacking in their gotaway numbers. Under their watch, 1.6 million of those gotaways have entered the country. This is more than the previous two administrations combined. Drug Czar Kamala Harris and assistant, Senator Tester, hold the auspicious record of 670,674 gotaways in just one year.
Is there a correlation here? The record of 670,674 gotaways in 2023 coupled with 75,000 synthetic opioid overdose deaths this same year strongly hints of a correlation. What an outstanding record of negative achievement by Drug Czar Kamala Harris, and assistant, Senator Jon Tester! Can anyone imagine “we the people” voting for Drug Czar representation in DC?
