President Leif Olsen announced that over $2,500 had been raised at the Street Dance at Worden Fire Department’s (WFD) business meeting on June 6. Olsen also thanked everyone who helped make the event go off with great success.
Assistant Fire Chief Stormy Tucker stated that Gavilon Grain is willing to donate to firefighter training, and further that they will reach out to Coors regarding possible sponsorship.
Next, Jen O’Donnell stated that the language of the previous meeting’s minutes did not accurately reflect the discussion that took place regarding background checks. Furthermore, O’Donnell said she felt it was written in a way that attacked her personally.
