Senior Center Concerns: Attention seniors of the Billings community and Senior Center at 360 N. 23rdStreet. There is a meeting of the Billings Senior Citizens Inc. with the City Council on Tuesday (Monday is Labor Day) Sept. 4, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers in City Hall on North 27thStreet. There is free parking in the parking garage at City Hall, which is accessible from Second Avenue. Entrance to the council chambers is from the second level of the parking garage and elevators are available if you park on a different floor.
As some of you are aware, there have been numerous problems with Parks and Recreation at the Billings Senior and Community Center since the new management team has taken over almost two years ago. The outcome of the meeting will affect how the Senior and Community Center will be managed and have an effect on programs and services provided for years to come.
If you care about our public Billings Community and Senior Center, we encourage and would appreciate your being able to attend the meeting to show your support. This meeting is very important for present and future senior citizens.
