On Saturday, 6/22/24, deputies and an ambulance were dispatched to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility for a reported assault on detention officers by inmates in the facility. As two officers were working in the facility, inmates suddenly attacked them. “Security video shows that the attacks were unprovoked,” says Sheriff Mike Linder in a released email. One of the officers, a victim in the attack, was transported to a local hospital where injuries were treated on his head and neck areas. He was discharged from the hospital later that night. Court documents state in an affidavit that the two suspects in question are Myron Scott Goesahead and Ashtin Zant Glen.
