Anderson McNiven has been broadcasting high school sports since 7th grade (since 2019). Anderson McNiven currently attends Huntley Project High School but covers sports games from football, volleyball and basketball during the school year.
Anderson has covered and broadcasted 374 (games broadcasted while in high school) including the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 state volleyball Championship games, multiple district and divisional and state basketball tournaments as well as state playoff football games for the schools of Huntley Project, Shepherd and Skyview High School districts.

Anderson participated in the Boys Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2021. Anderson has been recognized as an up and coming sports broadcaster in the region.
Anderson was a high school reporter for the Huntley Project School’s newspaper called the Red and Black Attack (2021 school year) that publishes their school newspaper each week in the Yellowstone County News.
Anderson has been recognized and featured as an up and coming sports broadcaster by MTN Sports in a video segment in 2021.

Anderson McNiven was a co-broadcaster for the Billings Outlaws semi-Professional Indoor Football Team in Billings during the 2022 season. (March 2022-June 2022) You could listen to him broadcast games on the local ESPN Radio station in Billings.

Anderson McNiven was recognized for reaching 300 game broadcast by SWX Sports as a junior in High school at Huntley Project.
Anderson was invited to shadow Keaton Gillogly, the voice of the Montana State Bobcats, and get to know staff, the inner workings of the radio broadcast and visited MSU Bozeman campus
while looking at his future.
Anderson was recognized in a Newspaper article for reaching 300 broadcasts.

Anderson works at the Yellowstone County News and was the Legal Advertising Coordinator during the 2023 summer months and helps around the office when his schedule provides time.
Anderson plays varsity basketball for the Huntley Project Red Devils in Worden and averaged 17 points in his junior year (was also awarded the team’s Defensive MVP) and averages 20+ points now in his senior year. Anderson scored a PR with 33 points against St. Labre in January 2025 and was recognized as the Athlete of the week by the Billings Gazette and 406MT Sports. Anderson was featured on MTN Sports again in January 2025 for playing basketball and broadcasting.
