Dear Editor,
A BIG, big thank you to all who helped put the grass fire out on our property last Saturday. Our Worden Volunteer Fire Department personnel are so good! They were here soon after I found out anything was going on. Thanks to whomever called it in. My neighbors are the best from Marc Shaules and his big four-wheel drive truck with sprayer and water tank, to the phone calls checking on me, and the physical help and support in between. Understand the Shepherd Fire Department had a rig helping here, too.
