Kenneth Painter III

God needed a hero so he called Kenny home on Friday, September 24, 2021. Kenny was born to Kenneth Painter, Jr. and Judy Timmermann on January 8, 1972, at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, TX.  He graduated from Marion High school in 1991.  He married Amy Hamilton on July 11, 1992, who passed away in 2003.  He joined the Army in 1994, served eight years and was honorably discharged in 2002.  He then moved to Billings, MT, where he met Ila Emmett.  Kenny and Ila were married on August 28, 2004.

Kenny worked for LYS for eight years.  He later went to work for XPO Logistics where he still worked at the time of his passing.  Kenny was a kind soul who would give you the shirt off his back even if that meant he would be cold.  He loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family.  He was very proud of his children.  He loved watching his youngest daughter Emma play softball.  He was very proud of his daughter Elizabeth when she joined the Navy.

Kenny leaves behind his wife Ila and their five children Jayme (Adam), Brandi (Austin), Kenny #4, Elizabeth and Emma.  He also leaves behind grandchildren Sophia, Kage, Brielle, William, Wesley and Waylon, as well as his mother Judy (Gary), father Ken (Brigit), two brothers Kevin (Lindsey), Klint (Misty) and two sisters Kendra (Joseph), Karla (Mel) and seven nephews, as well as many more friends, family and all his adopted children.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Amy and his son Kolby.
