Obituary: Mark Curtis Striegel

Mark Curtis Striegel went to be with his Lord on August 26, 2021 at age 66. He was born July 30, 1955 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Cleon and Audrey Striegel.  Mark grew up on the family farm south of Almont with his 3 siblings; Dennis, Brad and Susan. He graduated from Almont High School in 1973.

He was a man of many talents; ranch hand, chef, and most of his life he worked in the construction industry. One of his favorite hobbies was taxidermy and he was very proficient at it.

Mark loved fishing and hunting, he processed and smoked his own meats.  He was a master on the BBQ grill. Mark’s favorite fishing buddy was his son, Tyler, they had many hours on the river together. He adored his grandchildren and was so proud of Tyler and his service to our country in Afghanistan.

Mark made friends easily and left so many behind, he was generous and would give a stranger the shirt off his back. He was loved by so many.

He loved Jesus Christ, and we are thankful he is free from the cares of this world and in heaven now!

Mark is survived by his son and daughter in law, Tyler & Brianna Striegel, 3 grandchildren: Bridget, Maci and Orion as well as his sister, Susan (Dan) Brown, and brother, Brad Striegel. He was preceded in death by his son Travis, his parents Cleon and Audrey and his brother Dennis.

Services will be held September 11, 2021 at 1pm at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings, MT.
