On November 21 shortly after 9am, Officers with the Billings Police Department attempted stopping a black SUV as part of follow up investigation associated with a recent shooting in the 900 block of South 29th on November 20.
The SUV fled from Officers in the area of Hilltop and Main before finally crashing into a police vehicle near 6th Ave North and North 13th Avenue. There were no injuries.
Three occupants within in the vehicle were detained by Billings Police officers. The driver, Marlena Bigday, a 46 year old female from Billings was arrested and is being held on charges of Felony Criminal Endangerment, Felony Obstructing Justice, and other misdemeanor and traffic offenses. She was remanded into custody at YCDF.
Marlin Paker, a 24 year old Billings man, was arrested and is being held for outstanding warrants, Felony Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Robbery, & Attempted Deliberate Homicide in relation to the shooting on November 20. Paker was remanded at Yellowstone County Detention Facility. A third subject, an 18 year old Male from Billings, was released from the scene.
The shooting investigation remains on-going.
