2-Dead,1-Injured

The Billings Police Dept. released information pertaining to a suspected double homicide in Billings that occurred on January 25th.  At approximately 3:00 AM Billings Police Dept. was dispatched to the 300 block south of 37th St., to a motor vehicle accident.  Upon arriving, and initial investigation, it was determined that there were two male occupants of the vehicle who were unresponsive and not breathing.  

A third male occupant was transported to a local medical facility by ambulance for the treatment of his injuries.  The male who was transported to the hospital was identified as a 22-year-old male from Billings.  The injuries he sustained were not life threatening and upon investigation were determined to not be from a motor vehicle accident. 

The initial two male occupants had died as a result of gunshot wounds.  Both deceased have yet to be identified.  The identity of the deceased males will be released by the Yellowstone County Coroner’s Office, pending confirmation, and notification of their families.

Initial information indicates that a disturbance broke out within the vehicle prior to crashing into a tree on the side of the road.  Detectives are continuing to investigate; however, they are not looking for alleged persons involved.  There have been no arrests made as of the afternoon of 1/25/22.
