Obituary: Cletus Earl Sherrod

Cletus Earl Sherrod, 60, passed away November 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born to T.E. (Bud) Sherrodd and Karen Sherrodd on April 15, 1961.

Cletus (Babe) had a gift of making friends wherever he went.  Cletus, as you say, flitted to the tune of his own flute and didn’t really care if you liked it or not.  He was what he was and that’s all that he was.  He was talented in so many ways.  He drove truck, operated heavy equipment; he was a cowboy, a welder, a mechanic, a jack of all trades.  He could do so many things.

Cletus is survived by his dad and step-mother, Bud and Sam; his mother, Karen; his sister, Laurie (who stood by his side no matter what, the love that they shared with each other was amazing); half-sisters, Sheyenne and Shauna; his children, Levi, Tawny, and Nathan and his step-son, Jimmy; his uncle and aunt, Bob and Marge Sherrodd; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Babe, we will miss you, tell everyone hello.

Funeral services at a later date, possibly in February of 2022.
