Paul J. Sherman

Paul J. Sherman, 20, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2019. He was born on July 14, 1998 in Billings. He grew up on the family farm in Ballantine and enjoyed helping his dad work on the farm. He graduated from Huntley Project High School in May 2017. In 2016, he followed in the footsteps of the men in his family and hose to serve his country by enlisting in the Army Reserves.

He loved to spend time with his friends and family and doing outdoor activities. As he was growing up, he spent many hours hunting, fishing, hiking, and riding his dirt bike. Paul joined the school band when he was in 5thgrade and his instrument of choice was drums. He played in the school band until graduating, excelling at his instrument and being chosen to play with the honor band.

Paul was a hardworking and well-loved young man. He is missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Delbert; mother, Melissa; sister, Brittany; brother, Loren; nieces and nephews, grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9am to 4pm and Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1pm to 4pm.

Funeral services will be held at Yellowstone National Cemetery Monday 11:00am. Family and friends are to meet at Dahl Funeral Chapel by 10:00am.
