had a question concerning vehicle license plates. I called the courthouse and had to leave a message with the assurance I would get an answer the next day. There should be some way that there is a person to answer questions immediately. Surely there is some office staff who could be directed to just answer questions as they come in. Over the past years, the Billings Schools have been very supportive by utilizing Metra for various school activities. School District # 2 has served Metra as a good revenue stream as a result. Now, as plans are being decided regarding future use of the grandstand area, it appears that the County Commissioners are “snubbing their nose” at the schools. It appears that they have in their mind better uses and plan to leave the schools out. It appears also, that the commissioners are now showing no appreciation to the schools for their past support. With this being said, it appears to me that the schools should now discontinue any future use of Metra. Why support Metra by holding a basketball or wrestling tournament there when it appears that their is no appreciation from the commissioners to the schools. I would like to see School District # 2 divorce itself from the commissioners totally and let them go their separate way.
