Homes that were significantly damaged by the 500-year flood in June are now eligible for financial assistance from American RedCross (ARC) by calling 800-272-6668 and scheduling an appointment with a caseworker.
ARC wrote a press release which stated, “We know that after a disaster, the recovery process takes time.”
The original application deadline has been extended to July 29, 2022, but Betsy Robertson of the RedCross encouraged those who need assistance help to reach out as soon as possible so they do not go without the services they need.
It was noted that readers may receive RedCross assistance in addition to other relief, such as FEMA or other government provided help.
