Popping up all across the county are campaign signs urging voters to vote, for or to vote against, overturning Yellowstone County’s law which legalizes the recreational sale of marijuana throughout the county.
Election Day is June 7, which means the campaign on both sides is likely to ratchet up as the day approaches. Those who are confused about what is going on in regard to marijuana use and sales can be forgiven because it has been a very entangled issue with a lot of nuances and convoluted twists and turns. In fact, the very wording on the ballot is one of those convoluted things where you are asked to vote “for” it, if you are against marijuana sales, and to vote “no” if you want marijuana sales in Yellowstone County.
