Double Homicide Investigation Continues

Billings Police sent an update Friday, January 28th, releasing additional public criminal justice information to clarify developments in the double homicide investigation.

The press release sent from Lieutenant Brandon Wooley said that detectives are investigating elements of several other major criminal offenses as a part of the investigation, namely robbery, aggravated kidnapping, attempted homicide and homicide.

According to Officer Wooley, Detectives are piecing together information and evidence to verify and corroborate sequences of events regarding the incident. At the time of this release, Detectives have no new information to indicate that the male transported to the hospital with neck injuries, who is also the owner of the vehicle involved, had any known association with the two deceased males prior to these events. Additionally, investigators have no indication         that anybody but the three identified persons were involved.

An earlier release regarding this investigation they identified the two deceased males as 34-year-old Joshua D. LaForge and 30-year-old Dante J. Bezpaletz, both from Billings.

No arrests or charges have been made following the shooting. 

No new details will be released by the police department regarding the investigation.
