Gary W. Burbank

Gary W. Burbank started a new adventure, passing away November 23, 2021.  Gary was born to Clarence “CA” and Edna Burbank of Republic, Washington, on December 3, 1944.  He was their 10th child.

He left Republic to work for Yellowstone Pipeline/Conoco Phillips, beginning a career that spanned 30 years.  He traveled to places you could only dream about:  Washington, Montana, Louisiana, Texas, Wisconsin, Utah, Egypt, Hawaii and Italy.  He shared all of those experiences with his family.  Gary’s favorite pastimes were fishing and flying remote controlled airplanes.   He ended his days at Wyndstone’s Novak Cottage Memory Care Center in Billings, MT.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheryl; sons Nick Burbank (Shelle), Shane Burbank (Brigette); daughters Shelly Burbank, Brickel Sharp (William) and Tammy Reichert (Ray); seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold “Skip” Burbank (Rosalee), Russell Burbank (Nancy); and one sister Norma Fox (George).

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, CA and Edna; brothers Jay Burbank, Art Burbank; sisters Arloa Williams, Muriel Burbank, Juanita Yenter, Lois Polk and Frances Hill.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be in the form of a donation to Shriners or St. Jude’s.
