Lynne Remington

Lynne Remington, 68, of Worden, Montana, passed on May 03, 2021. Lynne was born on October 10, 1952 to Hester Mitchell Remington and C.L.E. “Bill” Remington.

Lynne was a graduate of Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Eastern Montana College. Lynne took great pride in her ten-acre farm in Worden where she raised her own children and ran a family daycare for thirty-six years, playing an integral role in the lives of the countless children whom she cared for and who called her Miss Lynne. Lynne also worked part time for many years as a proofreader for the Yellowstone County News.

Lynne was an avid dog owner and trainer and taught dog obedience classes to the public as co-owner of Cristibar Dog Obedience with her sister for 30 years. In keeping with her passions of dogs and children, Lynne was also an active 4-H dog program leader and general supporter of 4-H for many years.

Lynne is survived by her sister, Helen Remington (Frank DuPree); brother, Bill Remington (Dawn); sons, Kevin Remington (Alicia) and Cris Remington (Amanda); daughter, Jessalyn Remington (Gregory Medeiros); grandchildren, Keira and Jameson Remington; and beloved dogs and cats, Kallista, Charlie, Azul and Dakota.

Lynne was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Remington.

A ceremony and reception in celebration of Lynne’s life will be held at Heights Family Funeral Home at 733 West Wicks Lane, Billings, MT 59105 on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00p.m. Remembrances may be shared on Lynne’s Tribute Page at www.heightsfamilyfuneralhome.com.
