Dear Editor,
What of this great experiment called America? It was to make a better world, for all.
We now have great private hunting preserves like the ancient Chinese emperor and his royal family. We import most of our products, have military personnel all over the world and a large portion of the people working for the government or receiving payment for hardship or disability. It reminds me of the Roman empire. We have large barons much like the middle ages. We have taxes upon taxes which makes the taxes of the king of England’s look like small change.
Now tell me again how “that will never happen here.” Tell me again how human nature can change. Anytime one puts profits, power, and possessions before people, the outcome will be ugly.
