Libertarian Candidate not Included This Year

Dear Editor,

In the 2012 election over 18,000 voters and in the 2016 election over 17,000 voters voted for the libertarian candidates running for governor in Montana. In both elections, the libertarian candidate participated in the gubernatorial debate.

This year the libertarian candidate will not be allowed to participate in the election. This is because his name which is Lyman Bishop was not included in the several polls that were used to determine who would participate in the debate. This begs the question who had the resources (i.e. the money) and the influence (i.e. the money) to make sure his name did not appear on the polls used to determine who will appear at the debate? I believe it has to probably be the billionaire in the race. That of course is Greg Gianforte! By conveniently letting the people controlling his “blind” trust take care of this, Gianforte can state that he himself had no control over their doing this.

Mr. Bishop will be on the ballot. The libertarians believe in the Constitution as written by our founders. Libertarians also believe in all of our Bill of Rights including the 6th amendment. My wife and I strongly support President Trump, but we are both voting for Mr. Bishop for governor.

President Trump knows how to deal with the Devils he knows, the Democrats. It is those unpredictable Devils such as spineless and RINO Republicans that have caused the most political trouble for him. In many ways Gianforte has shown himself a spineless Republican. His opponents in the primary election made that abundantly clear!
