Woman shot at Gas-N-Go

The Gas-N-Go convenience store on Jackson St. on the South Side of Billings was the site of a shooting just before 9pm on the 24th. A 25-year-old female employee, whose name had not been released as of press time, was working at the gas station as a male suspect ran in and attempted to rob the business. In the process of the robbery, he fired one round which struck the employee before fleeing from the scene. 

The employee was rushed to the hospital by AMR, but as of press time there was no update on her status. The Billings Police Department has not provided a description of the shooter and has not confirmed whether or not a suspect has been identified as this is considered an ongoing case.
